The mission of the Great Place to Work® concept is to help organisations become better workplaces. The concept is strongly based on a corporate culture of well-being, which significantly affects a company’s ability to perform well.

The Great Place to Work certification is an important mark of recognition. It is both a national and international acknowledgment of the fact that a company puts effort and resources into creating a good employee experience.

Certification is granted if a personnel survey carried out according to the concept’s model proves that people enjoy the workplace and trust the employer. In other words, the certificate’s criteria are entirely based on employee responses.

We started working with the Great Place to Work team 18 months ago. Our goal was to get an honest picture of our corporate culture and our employees’ personal experiences about enjoyment at work. Our previous personnel survey results have been good, so we became interested in our position relative to other employers. We set very ambitious goals for ourselves. Put simply, we want to be the best employer in our region. To prove this, we needed comparative indicators from a reliable third party as well as research data about things that we should take into account and continue to develop and improve.

Our previous personnel survey results did give us the impression that we would get excellent results from the Great Place to Work survey as well. Now that we know the results, we can proudly say that they cleared the minimum points requirement with flying colours. The certification confirmed what we already knew. We have earned the certificate!

Our strengths are caring for our employees, ensuring equality, approachability and shared pride about our company image. In fact, we have always felt that everyone is working together, and that sense of community is present in our everyday work. Colleagues, team spirit and a wonderful work community were repeatedly praised in the open responses. The good employer experience of our employees secured us the certificate for this period as well!

Finally, we should note that no matter how good you are and how great the personnel feedback is, there is always room for improvement. The feedback and development ideas have been discussed thoroughly, and we would like to thank everyone for them. New projects are already being discussed!
